Tuesday 25th September marked the launch of River Islands debut homeware range.
They have joined the likes of other high street retailers, Zara, H&M and Next who also have homeware departments.
The prices vary, starting from £8 all the way up to £275.
They have come out with three collections that differ a lot in style so there is something to suit everybody’s taste.
The collections are New Nordic, Baby Doll and Electric Opulence.
I have put together my top picks from each collection …

This collection has been centered around a warm colour palette with hints of geometric patterns and metallic finishes. There is a heavy Scandinavian influence in this collection but has the injection of luxe with the metallic and marble finishes.

Baby Doll is a really fun collection. Bold colours and quirky prints are the focus here. Textured pastel vases, iridescent sequin beaded cushions and colourful faux furs add feminine touches with a quirky edge.

This collection has real individuality but still with some universal staple pieces. It has a very rich and extravagant colour palette with deep teals being the base colour with pops of orange, pink and blue. Whilst not everything is going to be to everyones taste, it is refreshing to see something bold and different.

From these first collections they have released, I think River Island Home will become a ‘go to’ place when you’re looking to spice up your interior. The pieces they have released are right on trend and at a decent price point.
