Lampas Peacock

Lampas Peacock is a beautiful rich teal colour. It features distressed edges and has a high gloss finish. It has a mix of plain tiles and ones with a subtle embossed pattern on them.

Its brick shape allows you to be creative in its layout.

Topps tiles collaborated with interior designer Sophie Robinson for the ‘Tile of the year’ campaign. Sophie is known for her love of colour, and is constantly encouraging people to inject colour into their homes.

‘The design and colour of this tile is so gorgeous and incredibly versatile. It lends itself to all kinds of décor and its bold colour and design is all about enhancing the up-and-coming movement for more soothing and deeper shades and shapes that aren’t overtly fussy or complicated, but can be used to create style with real wow factor.

‘I particularly love the fact that the tile is really elegant but has a hand finished, almost rustic-looking edge to add a bit of interest to a simple kind of style – something I expect to see more of in interiors in 2019. Think clean and simple lines but with pops of bold colour, pattern or texture to add real depth and interest to interiors.’

I just love this tile, it adds colour to the space without being too overpowering. The communication manager for Topps Tile said that the idea of the Lampas Peacock tile is to create an atmosphere in the home that is nurturing and inviting, yet rich in design interest. I think they have definitely achieved this, especially when paired with other natural touches such as wood grain or natural stone.
